About SARWA: Committees

Four committees have been formed with the Alliance to help further our mission. These committees include: Projects and Mapping, Water Conservation and Quality, Outreach and Education and Funding and Maintenance. Each Committee has elected a chairperson and subsequently established goals and objectives relative to their sub-group. Each will work towards completing their goals and periodically reporting back to the Alliance on progress.

• Determine acquisition needs and funding needs along the Santa Ana River and Santiago Creek.
• Determine restoration needs and funding needs at the Orange Coast River Park
• Determine the location of recreation access points and trail needs along the Santa Ana River and Santiago Creek.

• Target big water users beginning with Parks and Recreation Departments.
• Target homeowners through support for tiered water systems.
• Target schools through the Earth Resource Foundation’s outreach programs.
